Dr. Phelan is originally from London but attended secondary school in North Wales before completing her medical degree at Newcastle University in 2008.
As a junior doctor she worked in a wide range of specialities including acute medicine, accident and emergency and psychiatry. She completed her GP training in 2014 and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Since gaining her GP qualifications she has worked as a portfolio GP and is now a GP Partner as well as offering private GP services.
She has written articles for print and online publications including The Independent, New magazine and a weekly medical column for the Trinity Mirror Group (featured in regional publications such as The Liverpool Echo, The Manchester Evening News and the Western Mail).
Originally from the West Midlands, Dr. Shori studied Medicine at Cardiff University gaining his MBChB in 2002.
He has worked across a wide range of specialties before being a GP including ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Acute Medicine. He has been a GP partner since 2007 and senior partner since 2011.
He completed his law degree (LLB) from the College of Law (Chester) in 2015.
Since 2007 he has been combining his NHS GP work with being a leading provider of online medical services and was appointed Medical Director for Pharmacy2u in 2012. He is also a peer reviewer for the British Medical Journal.
He has been featured in both print and online media including: The Huffington Post, The Sun and The Eastern Eye.
